Lockheed Martin is a member of the DD(X) National Team and is under contract with Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems to lead the design and development of the Command, Control and Intelligence Element (C2I), the Weapon Control Element, the Acoustic Sensor Suite Element, and the S-Band Volume Search Radar antenna aperture. Lockheed Martin is also responsible for the tactical and non-tactical network and workstations for the Total Ship Computing Environment and Infrastructure as well as the C2I Human Interface display. Lockheed Martin is also assisting the system design effort on DD(X) with the Total Ship Systems Engineering team.

The Lockheed Martin facilities contributing to the DD(X) solution include Eagan, Minn., Syracuse, N.Y.; Manassas, Va.; Moorestown, N.J.; and Valley Forge, Pa. Other significant contributors to the DD(X) C2I team include Raytheon's Network Centric Systems locations in St. Petersburg, Fla. and Ft. Wayne, Ind.
